Contopsa successfully shipped the Chassis (Terminal Trailers), completing the first shipment of 18 trailers, bidding process which was awarded last September for more than US$ 1 million.

This shipment was delivered and received by Panama Port Co. on their facilities at Balboa Port commencing the 3rd December at Panama. Contopsa participated together with European and American companies in this bidding. The transportation of these units was effected by the shipping line Maersk Sealand, on the hired vessel "Lobivia" for the service between San Antonio and Balboa, on this shipment the chassis were bundled in three and were stowed in bays above deck by Maersk Sealand. “We are very satisfied as a Company, and this shows our international and diverse capacity in business to compete with other Companies of different countries.”, highlighted Francis McCawley, general manager for Containers Operators S.A. |
